The following projects are excluded from the requirement:

Projects may satisfy the requirement by installing an artwork in a public place on or in the vicinity of the project site as approved by the City Council with a cost or value equal to one percent (1%) of the total project cost. Maintenance and conservation of the artwork will be the responsibility of the property owner.
