Exclusions and inflation adjustments can be found through the Art in Public Places Program.

Projects may satisfy the requirement by installing city council approved artwork on-site or donating an artwork to the city, the minimum value of which shall be one percent (1%) of development project valuation, not to exceed four hundred and fifty thousand dollars ($450,000.00). Maintenance and conservation of the artwork will be the responsibility of the owner. Alternatively, developers may contribute an in-lieu fee, the value of which shall be one percent (1%) of the development project valuation for nonresidential projects, not to exceed four hundred and fifty thousand dollars ($450,000.00); or one half percent (0.5%) of the development project valuation of residential single-family projects of four (4) or more units, including remodels and additions, not to exceed four hundred and fifty thousand dollars ($450,000.00). A combination of the above contributions is acceptable, subject to the approval of the city council.
