Projects may satisfy the requirement by providing a work of art on-site that is easily accessible during normal business hours and clearly visible to the general public. Maintenance and conservation of the artwork will be the responsibility of the property owner. Where the total construction cost is between five hundred thousand dollars ($500,000) and one million dollars ($1,000,000.00), the value shall be equal to or greater than one percent (1%) of the total construction cost. Where the total construction costs are greater than one million dollars ($1,000,000.00), the value shall be equal to or greater than one percent (1%) of the first one million dollars plus one and a half percent (1.5%) of the amount in excess of one million dollars ($1,000,000.00).
