Program Summary

The Code encourages new construction or renovation of commercial, industrial, mixed-use, and residential projects to contribute to a voluntary public art program.

Projects may satisfy the requirement by contracting with a professional artist to create a permanent, publicly-accessible artwork to be placed on-site or by contributing to the Clearwater Public Art and Design Fund. The value of the artwork or contribution shall be not less than one percent (1%) of the aggregate job value, with a cap of two hundred thousand dollars ($200,000.00) per project.
