Program Summary

The Code establishes that commercial, industrial, and residential developments with four (4) or more units with a building valuation exceeding five hundred thousand dollars ($500,000.00); and the remodeling (exterior or interior) of existing commercial, industrial, and residential developments with four (4) or more units with a valuation exceeding two hundred and fifty thousand dollars ($250,000.00) are subject to a mandatory public art requirement. Projects may satisfy the requirement by contributing one percent (1%) of the total building valuation to the Public Arts Fund.
