The following projects are excluded from the requirement:

Projects may satisfy the requirement by installing an artwork in a public place on or in the vicinity of the project site, as approved by the city, with a value equal to at least one percent (1%) of the total project valuation. Maintenance and conservation of the artwork will be the responsibility of the holder of the certificate of occupancy of the property.
